Moved to Redwood City, CA and start job at GTE Lenkurt, San Carlos. GTE Lenkurt had a great Engineering Training Program, which you do not see anymore.

Took Electrical Engineering Master's Degree classes at Santa Clara University
1983
Started work on my MBA at Golden Gate University, Los Altos Campus GTE Lenkurt moves to Phoenix, I do not and get laid off !
1984
Being unemployed I become a full-time student at GGU One month into the semester, accepted a job at Pacific Bell Full-time employee and full-time student for about 9 weeks Took train 30 miles north to San Francisco, then back to Redwood City, then drove 20 miles to Los Altos campus, then back home 4 days a week.
1985
Started job at Granger Associates (Santa Clara), became DSC Communications, now Alcatel
1988
Laid off from DSC, worked briefly at Raynet, Menlo Park, CA.
1989
Retired and moved to La Mesa, San Diego County. Took some Public Adminstration courses at San Diego State University
